Recent enquiry about chang from a CMAS Instructor to a PADI instructor
I am a CMAS 1* instructor and really would like to do a crossover into the PADI teaching environment. I am 42 years old and been seasonly teaching CMAS 1* and 2* divers over the past 5 years.
What is my real equivalence in the PADI system? Do I have to take both AI and OWSI before taking the IDC examination. Of course I understand that I will have to learn a lot about PADI philosophy of diving and teaching but I have been diving in quite a few PADI places in the world and have an idea of it. What would you best advise me to do, according to my situation?
