PADI IDC Elearning

Lots of potential instructors are now completing the PADI IDC Elearning program after buying our Dive Theory DVD to give themselves the best chance of passing and to be the most prepared for the courses and exams, we think ELearning especially for the IDC will only increase in the future, the following is the Elearning email received by PADI IDC Dive centers that the student indicated that they want to attend when they complete their online portion of the IDC course:

Your PADI IDC student has just completed PADI Instructor Development Course Online and has affiliated with your facility. Please contact your student diver as soon as possible to extend an invitation to visit [ your PADI idc center]

Your student can purchase the PADI IDC Crew-Pak, meet you and your staff, schedule the practical sessions, plus you can confirm the version of their Instructor Manual and assist them with any other materials or equipment needed for the course.

Please encourage your student to complete the practical sessions as soon as possible to become a PADI Assistant Instructor or Open Water Scuba Instructor.

We would recommend all our member’s ensure they have an IDC Elearning page on their website to attract this business.

PADI are now very helpfully sending emails to dive centres once a student that is referred from them passes the PADI dive theory online section, the following text is what you will receive once your ‘affiliated student’ passes the PADI Dive Theory Online course.

Congratulations – [your student] has just completed PADI Dive Theory Online and has affiliated with your facility. Please contact your student diver as soon as possible to extend an invitation to visit [your dive website]

Your student can purchase additional reference materials such as the PADI Diving Knowledge Workbook, Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving, RDP Table or eRDPML®. Use this opportunity to introduce your staff and assist your student with their diving equipment needs.

Please encourage [your student] to get in the water as soon as possible by providing a schedule of your upcoming dive trips.
