What does it takes to pass the PADI IDC and IE?

In order to pass the PADI IDC (Instructor Development Course) you must meet several requirements. First, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a current PADI Divemaster certification. You must also have a valid medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 60 logged dives, and have completed a sanctioned Emergency First Response course within the last 24 months. Finally, you must attend and successfully complete all academic and practical application sessions, pass all exams with a score of 75% or higher, and demonstrate all required skills. In order to pass the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), you must pass both a theory and practical exam. For the theory exam, you must answer 75% of the questions correctly. For the practical exam, you must demonstrate mastery of all the PADI skills and standards. You must also present a professional level of teaching and communication skills. Finally, you must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the PADI system and the ability to accurately answer questions about the PADI system.
