Instructor Development Course – required material
At the beginning of an IDC program you will need from you (original or photocopy) :
PADI OWD certification card or equivalent
PADI AOWD certification card or equivalent
PADI Rescue certification card or equivalent
EFR certification card or equivalent incl. CPR, not older than 24 months
PADI Divemaster certification card or equivalent
A medical form signed by a doctor, stating that you are fit for scubadiving (please use the PADI medical form). Not older than 12 months on the last day of the IE
Your last logbook page and logbooks proving your diving experience (100 dives or 60 if you are doing your PADI IDC with a PADI CDC – Career development Center)
3 passport pictures for the IDC program.
You can easily and cheaply get the required material from your Course Director in the resort or if you may want to bring them all the way from your home, the choice is yours. Some people decide they need the materials before they come to do preparation at home – or perhaps to reduce the weight of your luggage you may want to purchase your material when you get to your resort, ifs that’s the case please let your Course Director know what materials you will be needing at least two weeks prior to your arrival so they can ensure that they are in your room for your arrival.
